Yesterday I went to see Bela Fleck and the Flecktones play at the Montreal Jazz Festival. Here is some cool footage I took:

So when I was younger and barely started playing bass, I had dreams:

- Being able to slap
- Being able to tap
- Being able to improvise
- Being good
- Get known worldwide
- Play bass everyday
- Do a lot of shows
- Be in a band

I realised most of them. It’s so cool to just make your dreams come true.

I really stick to this reason to make everyday of my life the coolest ever. To just enjoy what I love the most.

So here are my new dreams:

- never stop playing bass
- always improve myself
- keep a growing fan base
- always learn new ways/techniques/styles of playing bass
- play with a lot of people
- stay true to myself and to my music
- Have fun
- Have fun

I guess that if I realise those dreams, my life will be fulfilled.

I realised that the coolest thing in life is: DOING STUFF. It doesn’t matter if you suck, just do stuff.

By stuff I mean playing bass ( for me).

I like to test new sounds, new ideas, loop them, slap them, tap them, and share it with you guys. I don’t care if they suck. I have fun. SO MUCH FUN. I like to update my website. I like to record. I like to have fun while testing stuff.

People who don’t test stuffs are lazy. And bored. In life. It’s better to always test and fail then to test nothing and to only complain about everything or envy others who at least try.

Pick up your guitar right now. Play. Record. Upload it. Share it. Read peoples comments. Be mad. Be happy. Learn from the constructive comments. Draw a picture, upload it. Close the TV. Go outside to brainstorm some cool ideas for your movie/music/drawing. I don’t know.

We all have a gift. A talent. A passion. Please, use it. Because this, my friend, is the definition of true happiness.
