So you probably know my musical idols being Flea, Victor Wooten, Manring, Frusciante, etc etc. But I never talk about my other idols, mentors. People that are good at spreading original ideas, being creative, helping artists, and influencing me on my way to think, my way to see things in life, giving me a new perspective, my bass playing and on all my creative stuff.

Here are a few:

Derek Sivers: Cd Baby Founder. Entrepeneur and musician, Derek started CdBaby as a little hobby to help his friends to sell their music online. He sold the company 2 years ago for 22 millions $. He gave the majority of the money to musical education and only kept the minimum amount to survive. Derek holds a powerful and informational website where he posts alot of tips to help musicians with their art. He has an interesting blog and alot of books recommendations. You can check him out here: http://sivers.org/

Tim Ferriss: Tim Ferriss wrote a popular book called 4-Hour workweek. One of my favorite book ever. He gives alot of tips on how to quit the 9 to 5 regular day job and focus on your passion and earn an income. This can apply to any artists, entrepeneurs, buisness managers etc. He holds a popular blog where he posts alot of tips on many random stuff in life like: How to hold your breath for 10 minutes, how to gain 34 Lb of muscles in 4 weeks, etc etc. You can check out his website here: http://www.fourhourworkweek.com

Hugh McLeod: Cartoonist, blogger and author of the incredible book Ignore Everybody. He his a direct, straight to the point artist who give us advices on the real life of an artist. Interesting tips on how to create a lifestyle with the use of our art.
