Sometimes in life, you just have to reconsider who you really are. What are your dreams, your goals. Working on a paying job, even if it’s cool, even if it brings you a lot of knowledge, if it doesn’t help you achieving your dreams, or if you deeply feel you don’t belong there anymore, well you may consider yourself to quit.

I was working for Apple for almost 2 years now. Yes it was really cool, but my main goal is to play bass, to experiment this instrument, update my website, interact with fans, do shows, jam with my band, learn more on Music Technology, become an IT engineer. Apple can’t help me on that anymore.

Peace Apple, it was fun working for you.

Now I’m going to use all this amount of crazy hours working at a huge company on my bass playing.

Plus, I have to build a lot of solo bass sets for my upcoming shows.

You only live once. Why would you want to waste your energy in something that doesn’t help you fulfill your dream?

I started to read a really cool book called The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle

It’s #1 best new-york seller. And the author said a thing that really stuck to my mind: We are able to control our mind but If we think too much, our mind will control us. It is so true. I always try to be spontaneus because alot of thinking will bring you to confusion and you will get lost. This book helps you on that. It helps you to think normally. I can’t wait to read more on that book. It seems that the older we become, the more we think because we want to be sure to make the right decision. When we are young, we don’t think too much because we don’t have any experiences so we do it by the feel. This is how we should do it.

Tonight I’m going to see the U2 3D concert on IMAX. I have my tickets I can’t wait! It’s the first ever full 3d concert. I will be sit in a theatre with som 3d glasses on and the concert will be playing. It will feel like I will be in the audience. yessssssssss

I got my electric drum sunday yessssssssssssssssssssssss. I’m going to post some videos of it soon. pretty soon. The possibilities of making some cool music are huge with this little toy. hehhee.

Saturday I went to the tattoo store and the dude made a sketch of my future tattoo on my shoulder. I love it so much. It’s really cool. It’s the red hot chili peppers logo with 2 wings side by side.

I bet that most of you people love the red hot chili peppers but have NO CLUE about what their logo means. hehe. Well, their logo: has several meanings.

First, it was designed by Anthony Kiedis really quick because they had to sign their first reccord and they didint have a logo at the time. So the managers asked them about a logo right away. So he drew it in like 1 minute.

For him, it was the Star of Affinity. The way we naturally connect with people with this strange and beautiful feeling. Did you ever noticed, there are people that you really dont know, but you feel connected to them. And there are others that you know them for years and you just can’t get along with them. It’s not because you hate them, it’s not because you have nothing in common, you just dont FEEL them. This is affinity.

And you can see a similar logo on ambulances:

Because for them, it means the symbol of Positivity.

So even if RHCP is my favorite band and they gave me the big boost on my musical career, Affinity and Positivity are my day-by-day life. I always think positivly to avoid stressing for nothing. And I’m not really a person who rationalize stuff and situations. I always follow my interior feel. Even if it’s weird, I will follow it without thinking too much.

So that tattoo represents alot to me.
