Music is dying

Last day I was watching the TV and i was watching all the new music video clips. And I realized that… music is become more and more shit. It’s sad. Good NEW bands in our days are really rare, music is becoming to much synthesized, people are doing music only for the money, fame popularity, and i’m talking of artists like Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, all the new Rap artists etc… People who are doing music for their own soul dosen’t exist anymore… People used to play music to express their ideas, focus on their message they want to spread, working on their personal talent and become better and better, make some risks, do it for themselves first, not for the others. All the artists in the past years, all the classic bands who revolutionized music history by taking risks and not being like everybody else, became our idols and legends. We are all listening to music like The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepelin, Run DMC, etc etc etc.. do you really think people are going to listen to some Britney spear 50 years from now? Screw all that commercial bullshit. I’m really sick about that. When I go to the record store to buy some cool cd’s, I never go into the NEW section because it all suck.

I get a lot of musical contracts, but I refuse most of them. People are trying to impress me with their big budget or their popularity. I really don’t care about that. I only accept the musical projects that I feel a special connection between me and the artist, when I know that he is not doing it for the money or for the fame, I don’t want to encourage the shitty music of nowadays. All the people who enjoy my music, they enjoy MY music. I don’t have a producer, or a manager that tells me what to play to attract THAT fan base… I have sounds and ideas in my head. I translate them with my bass. thats all.

I will never stop thanking all of you to encourage me and being interested in my work. Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!!!!! :)
