Man, I just read that the 3rd september, mister TONY LEVIN is coming to Montreal!!
I dont listen to his current music BUT I know that he was the Legendary Bassist of Liquid Tension Experiment ,Peter Gabriel and King Crimson . So I think it will be an awesome show.
November 3rd, Michael Manring and Don Ross are doing a SOLO show in Toronto. Man, I CANT miss that show. Im going to find some crazy people to go with me. its only 5 hour ride from montreal but I have no doubt that IT WILL BE ALL WORTED hehe.
Talking about Manring, we often chat by email and for all of you who are always nervous before a show or a presentation or whatever, I asked him how he deals with it. here is Michael Manring’s anwser:
I occasionally get nervous before a show, but I think that’s a good thing. I want to care about making good music! As far as how to deal with — that’s a big question. One of the biggest challenges with being a musician is coping with the stress of performing. I find it’s a continuous process of soul-searching, trial and error and trying to be honest with myself.
so STRESSING IS A GOOD THING hehe.
